StreamingKV Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

1. Who we are

StreamingKV LLC ("StreamingKV", "we", "us") operates streamingkv.com and download.streamingkv.com, the forms we use to take download requests, problem reports and reviews, and the download service for the StreamingKV Free Edition software (the "Software"). Our address is 441 County Road 3512, Dike, Texas 75437, USA, and our email address for privacy matters is legal@streamingkv.com.

2. United States only

We offer the Software only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, who are United States citizens or lawful permanent residents, who live in the United States, and who are in the United States when they ask for it. Our websites and forms are intended for people in the United States. If you are outside the United States, please do not send us personal information. Our download server accepts requests only from internet addresses located in the United States, and refuses a request if the location of its address cannot be determined.

3. The Software itself sends us nothing

The Software never sends us any information, and it does not report to anyone on how you use it. When you type ACCEPT at the build prompt, that stays on your computer. The connections described in the next paragraph go only to third parties, which receive the technical information that any download involves, such as your IP address.

Some parts of the Software connect from your computer directly to third parties, never to us. The model's tokenizer is downloaded from Hugging Face the first time the tokenizer tool, the interactive program, or the comparison script needs it. kv_cost, a tool that reports how much memory a model's context needs, downloads that model's configuration file, a few kilobytes, from Hugging Face, but only when you give it a model's name instead of a local file. The comparison script, after asking you, downloads llama.cpp from GitHub and the model from Hugging Face. The setup script, after asking you, installs software you are missing and downloads the model; to do so it may contact Ubuntu's package archives; NVIDIA, at developer.download.nvidia.com and nvidia.github.io, for CUDA and the NVIDIA container toolkit; Docker Hub, for NVIDIA's CUDA base images if you build in a container; the Python Package Index (PyPI), for the transformers and jinja2 packages and, in a container build, cmake; and Hugging Face, for the model file, which comes from a third party's repository that holds a copy of the selected model in the file format the Software loads, pinned to one specific version of that file. Those connections are between your computer and those third parties. We receive nothing from them, and their own privacy policies apply.

4. What we collect

When you request a download (our request form):

your name and email address

that you live in, and are located in, the United States, and your age confirmation

your confirmation that you are a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident, and your organization if you choose to give one

your intended use (personal use or evaluation) and your export confirmation

When we send you a download link: the email address it was made for, and when it was issued, expires and was used.

When you accept the license at our download page: your email address; your IP address and the time; the location associated with that IP address, which we look up on our own server using the DB-IP Lite database without contacting any other company; a fingerprint (SHA-256) of the exact license text shown to you; the word ACCEPT you typed and the confirmations you gave; the version and release date of the Software; and the identifiers written into your copy of the Software, which link that copy to your acceptance.

When you visit our websites: our servers log your IP address, the time, and the page or file requested. Our download log records each acceptance, each download, and each request we declined because of its location.

When you report a problem or send a review (our forms): what you type, including your email address. If you choose, the Software can also include eight technical details about your computer (the Software version, your graphics card and its memory, driver and CUDA versions, operating system and kernel, system memory, the model file's name and size, and whether the Software is built). The Software shows you all eight and asks "Include these? [y/N]" first; the default is no. If you say yes, these details travel in the web address of the link to the form, so they may also appear in your browser history and in our form provider's logs. The identifier of your copy is never included.

When you email us: your message and your email address.

We do not collect payment information, government identification numbers, or precise location.

5. How we use it

to decide download requests, supply the Software, and keep a record that you accepted its license

to trace a copy of the Software found outside the terms of its license back to the acceptance it was supplied under, and to enforce the license

to comply with United States export control and sanctions laws, including checking requests against government restricted-party lists

to read problem reports and reviews and, if we choose, reply to them; we do not promise a reply

to keep our websites and servers secure and working

to comply with law and respond to lawful requests

We do not use your information for advertising or marketing, and we do not build profiles of you.

6. Who we share it with

Fillout (Restly, Inc.), which hosts our forms and holds what you submit until we delete it

Amazon Web Services, which hosts our download server in its US East (Ohio) region

Network Solutions, which provides our email service

our attorney

a court, regulator, or law enforcement authority when the law requires it, or when needed to enforce the license or protect our rights

a buyer or successor if our business or the rights in the Software are transferred (license Section 12.2)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Cookies, tracking, and Do Not Track

Our own web pages do not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels, and we do not allow other companies to track you across websites through our pages. Our form provider's forms set no cookies. They store a few items in your browser's local storage that they need in order to work, and they load a security check from Cloudflare, fonts from Google, and send error reports to Sentry, each under its own privacy policy. Those services receive technical information, such as your IP address, when a form loads; none of them tracks you across other websites through our forms. Because we do not track you over time or across other websites, we do not change what we do when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal: there is no tracking to turn off.

8. How long we keep it

License acceptance records, download link records, and our export screening records: ten years after the download, and longer while a claim or dispute about that copy is pending

Website access and error logs: 14 days. The download log: 30 days.

Download links never used: deleted 30 days after they expire

Download request form entries: deleted from Fillout 30 days after we answer the request

Problem reports and reviews: as long as useful for improving the Software, and no longer than two years

9. How we protect it

Our pages and downloads use HTTPS. Access to our records is limited to StreamingKV and our attorney, and the copy our attorney keeps is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that your information will never be exposed. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing legal@streamingkv.com from the email address you used with us. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We will answer within 45 days. We may keep the record that you accepted the license, and the identifiers of your copy, for the period in Section 8, because we may need them to establish or defend legal claims. If the privacy law of the state where you live gives you additional rights and applies to us, we will honor them, and we will not treat you differently for using them.

11. Children

Our websites and the Software are not directed to children, and the Software is licensed only to people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is material and we have your email address, we will also email you before it takes effect.
